Lewis Hamilton has hit out at Sebastian Vettel following the Azerbaijan Grand Prix after the German made contact with the Mercedes driver twice. On lap 20, as the safety car prepared to come in, Vettel hit the rear of Hamilton, with the Ferrari driver claiming that he had been brake tested.
After that incident, Vettel pulled alongside his title rival and hit him sideways on. It is not yet completely known if the contact was 100% intentional, but the stewards handed Vettel a 10 second stop and go penalty for the occurrence.
"I controlled the pace, like all the other restarts I slowed down in the same spot," Hamilton said to Channel 4. "He's obviously sleeping and drove in the back of me, that for me wasn't an issue. Driving alongside and deliberately driving into a driver and getting away scot free pretty much, he still came away fourth, I think that's disgrace, he disgraced himself today to be honest.
Hamilton went on to say that the kids watching Formula 1 today could take wrong messages from what he did. When Hamilton was told that Vettel said the two should treat the situation as men, Hamilton said: "If he wants to prove that he's a man we should do it out of the car face to face.
"I think driving dangerously which in any way can put another driver at risk, luckily we were going slow if we were going fast could have been a lot worse. Imagine all the kids watching Formula 1 today and seeing that kind of behaviour from a four-time World Champion. I think it says it all."
After a rather respectful championship fight, Hamilton was questioned on whether this is a turning point, and if the fight has turned dirty: "Not for me, I'm going to keep going. We had the upper hand this weekend, we can move forwards in the future, I think through difficult times true colours show, so a good day for me."

Maybe Vettel was wrong, but Hamilton would NEVER do anything like that would he? Oink oink (did you see that flying pig?)
Probably about right, race bans and the like are accumulation sort of things and seb, although most definitely in the wrong, is usually a sound racer
Lewis knew exactly what he was doing, well done LH, very clever indeed.........not often ya outsmart a German!
Much as I like Seb for his grit and determination, there was no call for what he did. He should have been DQ'd. That was uncalled for and foolish.
