Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo has had a almost perfect first day for the Grand Prix of Singapore. After setting the best time in first free practice the Australian was fastest again in the second free practice, with a record lap of 1:40.852.
Red Bull Racing seems to in contention for the win in Singapore, as Max Verstappen settled in second. The young Dutchman brushed the wall in Turn 10 in his fast run on ultrasoft tyres. Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel did exactly the same in his attempt to improve his time.
Not really surprised, more surprised to see Ferrari being so far down. Nice to see McLaren up there though.

Practice is not solely about absolute pace its about sorting out the car for race length distance, running on the different tyre compounds etc!
So don't think this represents what qualifying will look like!
