Sauber is the latest Formula 1 team to announce the date it will be launching its 2018 car. The Swiss squad has signed a title sponsorship deal with Alfa Romeo and will return to up-to-date Ferrari power, after running with year old units throughout the 2017 season.
The team announced that it would be unveiling its car on February 20, and is so far the second scheduled team to take the covers off its wraps. When the team announced its driver line-up for the upcoming season, it displayed a concept livery of red and white.
Keeping up with chassis naming traditions, the car will be named the C37. Marcus Ericsson will race for the team for fourth consecutive season and will be partnered by Charles Leclerc, who dominated the FIA Formula 2 championship in 2017, winning the title by 72 points.
