Force India will run with three junior drivers at the in-season test at Barcelona later this month. The Silverstone-based squad has confirmed that Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin and George Russell will drive the car over the course of two days.
Latifi was confirmed as Force India's test driver at the start of the year, after previously holding the same role with Renault. The Canadian will drive one VJM11 alongside Nikita Mazepin, who has been a test driver for Force India since 2016.
The pink panthers will also run a second car at the test for Pirelli, who will be conducting tests on its 2018 tyre compound. That car will be driven by George Russell, who drove in two free practice sessions for Force India in 2017.
At the Canadian Grand Prix later this year, Latifi will make his Grand Prix weekend debut, as he will take the car out during the first free practice session. This season, he is competing in the FIA Formula championship, as is Russell. Mazepin will compete in the GP3 Series, which will kick off in Barcelona.
