Changes have been made to the Paul Ricard circuit in anticipation for the French Grand Prix later this year.
The European race returned to the calendar in 2018 after a 10-year absence, with Lewis Hamilton taking the win.
The pit entry was located along the start-finish straight, with drivers peeling off to the right of the circuit to get into the pit lane.
The track's pit lane exit fed back onto the racing line at the end of the same straight.
While the exit has remained untouched, the entry point has been moved to the penultimate corner, which will be "particularly good for spectators in that area".
Last Friday, F1 race director Charlie Whiting visited the circuit to inspect the changes, which included a track resurface.
Circuit boss Stephane Clair said: "All the corners have been redone. Only the straights remain as they were. The new asphalt is of impeccable quality, so we have every reason to assume that all the problems will be solved.
"But the main change concerns the entrance to the pitlane. It will be particularly good for the spectators in that area."
