Max Verstappen will debut Red Bull's 2019 challenger at pre-season testing next Monday, GPToday.net has learned.

The Dutchman conducted a shakedown of the RB15 at the Silverstone circuit on Wednesday, the same day that it launched the car in a revised, one-off livery.

The five-time Grand Prix will handle driving duties on the opening day of running before handing the car over to new teammate Pierre Gasly the following day. The third day of the first test will see Verstappen return to the cockpit before Gasly concludes the opening test on Thursday.

The energy drink-backed team will follow the same day-to-day rotation format throughout the second week, with Gasly jumping into the hot seat on the first and third day, with Verstappen driving the second and final day.

Test one

I'll be watching on SKY. Can't wait to see their topspeed on the straits. I remember how disappointed Verstappen was when testing last year, it's good to hear that Verstappen is positive at the moment. Next week they will find out how good/bad they are compared with the others if Verstappen is still positive the signs will be great for an 3 way WC shootout.
