The changes to the pit lane entry at the Circuit Paul Ricard for the 2019 French Grand Prix have been revealed.
In 2018, the first French Grand Prix in ten years, drivers pulled off to the right on the start-finish straight to enter the pits.

However, that has been altered for the 2019 event, as originally confirmed in January earlier this year.
Drivers will now enter the pit lane on the outside of Turn 14, which is the penultimate corner of the race track. This will allow for a longer slowing distance, clear of the circuit itself.
The speed limit in the pit lane remains at 60 km/h, and the first safety car line has also been moved.
There were also some concerns 12 months ago in relation to the pit lane exit as drivers rejoined the circuit on the racing line, presenting potential danger if there was a competitor on the circuit approaching where the drivers emerge.
The pit lane exit has also been changed, as it provides a wider area for the drivers to comply with, while also extended further towards Turn 1, meaning they will be able to build up more speed before directly rejoining the racing line.
Parts of the track have also been resurfaced, with Turn 1, Turn 3 through to Turn 7 and Turn 15 receiving a fresh layer of asphalt.
