Williams deputy team principal Frank Williams made a rare appearance in the Formula 1 paddock this weekend, as the sport celebrates his 50-year stint as a team principal in F1. Below, watch five-time world Lewis Hamilton take the Williams boss around the Silverstone Circuit on a hot lap.

Wonderful to see! Now, to keep it real, what's with them saying 50 years as principle? If that's the case, it sure seems like it might be time for him to retire and appoint someone else besides Claire. I'm just not getting a strong "Frank is leading the show" kind of vibe from Williams, or that anyone is really a strong leader over there for that matter.
