Maximilian Günther has been confirmed as part of the Prema team for the 2017 season, where he competed last season. The German picked up four wins and thirteen podiums last year.
"It's great to be part of the Prema team this season," he said. "Last year was our first year together and we finished the championship off in second place. I'm glad we join forces next season and now the goal is the title. We have worked hard this winter to get in the best shape and I can not wait until the season starts."
The 19 year old will be joined at the team by Mick Schumacher, Callum Ilott and Guan Yu Zhou.
