Hitech racer Tadasuke Makino has confirmed that he has been forced to the sidelines after breaking his wrist and finger at the Norisring last weekend. The Honda protege made contact with fellow competitor Harrison Newey which rotated the wheel violently in his hands.
The Japanese driver is hoping for a return at around September but will miss the races in Zandvoort and Spa-Francorchamps. The 20-year-old has finished in the points twice so far this season, with the third race at the Norisring being his first retirement of 2017. Hitech is yet to announce who will fill the seat of Makino.
