The GP3 Series is back from a short break that followed on from the last round of the 2012 season at Monza. Team and drivers will be on-track on the 24th and 25th of October at the Spanish venue of Jerez for a 2-day test session.
Trident Racing will have a great chance to work with two young drivers that the team have been following lately, 18-year-old Emanuele Zonzini from San Marino and South African Roman De Beer, who turned 18 just a few days ago.
Zonzini made his open-wheel debut last season and entered the 2011 and 2012 Formula Abarth championship. His growth has been impressive and he's now looking forward to take a step towards a prestigious and challenging series like GP3.
De Beer moved to Italy to start his racing car career. He also made his first steps in Formula Abarth in 2010 and 2011 before increasing his experience level in the 2012 Italian Formula 3 Championship.
For Trident Racing, the test set to be held in Spain is the right occasion to follow a program aimed at getting in-touch with two young new drivers, who both chose Italy as a stepping stone for their career.
After Jerez the teams will move to Estoril for the second and last test of 2012, set for the 6th and 7th of November. Trident Racing will announce their driver line-up for Portugal soon.
