GP3 debutants Bamboo Engineering have secured the services of Venezuelan native Roberto La Rocca for the 2013 GP3 Series Championship season.
Florida based La Rocca, 21, announced today that he will be racing with Silverstone based Bamboo Engineering in the very latest GP3 Series car for the 2013 season.
The young Venezuelan has a promising racing CV. He was 2012 F2000 champion, with a record number of wins and poles, and has been a development driver for
Ralph Firman.
Roberto La Rocca said: "I'm delighted to be signing with Bamboo Engineering, we've had a great few days of testing and I'm eager to sign and start working towards the season. Taking the step up to GP3 is a big one but I feel its a natural progression for me after winning Formula 2000 last season."
Richard Coleman - Chief Executive Bamboo Engineering commented: "Roberto has the right attitude and recognises that GP3 will be a steep learning curve. He has shown promise during testing and were confident he will build his skills throughout the year."
