Five-time Indy Lights race winner Ed Jones is gearing up for his second IndyCar test later this week.
The Dubai-born Brit will run for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing at Watkins Glen on Thursday having previously run with the team at Sonoma in August last year.
Jones will split running with Graham Rahal (pictured) in the test that will see every team except AJ Foyt Racing in action on the track that stepped in late as a replacement for the cancelled Boston Grand Prix.
"It's great to be part of RLL for the test; thankfully they thought I did a good job last year and had confidence in me to test again," Jones told RACER. "My job is to get in and get as many laps as possible to help Graham when he gets in in the afternoon."
Jones currently sits second in the Indy Lights standings, 16 points behind championship leader Santiago Urrutia with three races remaining.
